French Broad River Dog Park in Asheville, NC has several infrastructure and vegetation adaptations to reduce polluted runoff from dog waste entering the river. I noted: vegetation, rock structures to slow water speed and reduce erosion, rain garden (pond), berms and swales. Perhaps similar improvements could be made in Zilker Park to protect Lady Bird Lake from dog-waste-runoff and fertilizers.
